We have been mandated by a global IT and consulting leader to recruit talent for their new office in Tunis Nord, Tunisia.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop electrical architectures and system specifications
Integrate electrical systems with hardware, software, and mechanical components
Define requirements for power distribution, sensors, actuators, communication buses, and protection systems
Develop wiring, grounding, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) strategies
Perform system-level simulations and analysis (load, power, thermal, fault scenarios)
Validate electrical systems through testing, debugging, and performance assessment
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (ISO, IEC, UL, automotive norms, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electronics, mechanics, embedded software, manufacturing, suppliers)
Support prototype build, troubleshooting, and product industrialization
Document system designs, test reports, and technical reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics
Experience in electrical system design and integration
Knowledge of power electronics, embedded systems, and control principles
Familiarity with CAD tools for electrical design (EPLAN, Altium, Zuken, Capital, AutoCAD Electrical, etc.)
Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Modbus, etc.)
Strong knowledge of EMC, grounding, protection, and electrical safety
Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, PSIM, PLECS, etc.)
Ability to analyze system failures and propose corrective actions
Good communication and teamwork skills
Fluency in English (French is a plus depending on region)
Problem-solving mindset and strong analytical abilities
